Covid-19 Response

The School continues its educational and research activities as an institution of higher education, while continuing to take countermeasures against increasing infection, in line with the spread of the novel coronavirus.

We will continue, as before, to carry out advanced research and education activities while taking thorough precautions against becoming infected or infecting others, and ask for your continued understanding and cooperation.

Regarding Education and Research Activities

Degree programs are conducted face-to-face on all campuses, and single-course programs are conducted in Live Virtual format. According to the Class Satisfaction Survey filled out by class participants, many aspects of our Live Virtual courses, such as the content and flow of the class, achieved the same level of satisfaction– or higher, than the face-to-face format in place up to last year. In terms of face-to-face classes, please be assured that the number of seats has been reduced to half of usual, in addition to taking measures to ensure good air ventilation when face-to-face lessons are conducted in the classroom.

Regarding Admissions & Marketing Activities

Admissions infosessions and individual consultations continue to be held in both face-to-face and online formats. The on-campus infosessions at Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka campuses are held with a reduced numbers of participants. For those who may find it difficult to attend on campus, participants may avail themselves of the virtual admissions infosessions and individual consultations.

Several upcoming dates are available for registration!

The fundamentals of robust infection countermeasures

  • Requiring masks to be worn while inside buildings
  • Implementing cough etiquette and hand washing
  • Implementing good ventilation inside classrooms and shared areas
  • Regular disinfection of handles and doorknobs, etc.
  • Ensuring that hand soap and hand sanitizer is available on every floor

Confirming the physical conditions of class participants and measuring the body temperature of all visitors

  • Taking temperature with a thermometer upon arrival, and refusing entry to anyone measuring 37.5°C or higher.
  • Requiring response to a medical questionnaire before classes.

Ensuring Social Distancing

  • Reducing numbers of participants in classes
  • Maintaining a physical distance between class participants
