Network Leadership

Takagi Haruo

The organizational principles of the industrial age. The theory and practice of leadership in networked organizations. The essence of the strength of a network-type organization, and the kind of eadership that drives it.
These are the themes of this book. The conventional organization is a so-called pyramid type, and the idea of leadership also presupposes a pyramid-type structure. But what is needed today is a flat, networked organization. Leadership must, of course, be subject to that.

The purpose of this book is to articulate network organizations and their leadership by building on new system theories about society and organization. The theory is the concept of a polyagent system (complex multi-subject system), which is the basis of the frontier of the series and social sciences.
