Humans and Society in the Multimedia Era: Polyagent Society

Takagi Haruo

With this book, you will be able to unravel the multimedia era and the polyagent system. The author advocates a new view of the system that encapsulates the current highly information-oriented society. He presents the concept of the poly-agent system as a new way of looking at the emerging information society.

The aim of this book is to view society and organizations as a complex subject system, or polyagent system, which is a network of autonomous subject agents. This is the result of research that examined the three themes of multimedia and human behavior, society on computers, and organization and society of polyagents.
