  • By learning the basics of accounting, I was able to sort out the knowledge I had gained through experience and study and understand the major issues, which was very satisfying.

  • My image of accounting has changed a lot. Although I was a little young at accounting, the course taught me the basics of accounting in an organized manner, and I thought it would be useful in practice as I could link it with other management knowledge. I would like to be actively involved in accounting-related work in the future.

  • At the beginning, I was given a detailed explanation of accounting terms and systems, which also helped me to supplement the basics. Although I am not an accounting professional myself, the class was very useful for me when I talk to my business partners and understand their situations.

  • It was a very interesting lecture. The content was rich, from the basics of accounting to complex cases, the abundance of pre-assignments, the personality of Prof. Tsuji, the fun of the lecture, and even the discussion of issues at the final sassion. I would like to take a longer lecture.

  • Since it was my first time learning accounting, the hurdles of prior study and assignment reports were high, but I think I learned more than enough to call it the essence of the subject. I learned not only the basic concepts of accounting, but also how it is used in actual business, the differences in accounting concepts between Japan, the U.S. and Europe, and changes in accounting rules, which are not static. I feel that this course has given me a roadmap for further study of accounting and finance in the future. Thank you very much.

  • Although the pre-assignments were voluminous, I was able to come to class with a certain amount of knowledge, and the enthusiasm of the teacher and the ice-breakers at various points made the class enjoyable.

  • There were a lot of preliminary tasks and materials, but the preliminary materials were easy to understand and very useful. Also, he explained the basic material in detail, and I was able to spend a valuable time learning. Furthermore, the teacher was enthusiastic and seemed very happy to be teaching, and I could feel his enthusiasm to have the students seriously understand.

  • Although the assignment was initially challenging for a beginner in bookkeeping and financial accounting, I was able to fully immerse myself in the course and gain a basic understanding of what accounting is all about. I had an impression that financial accounting has strict rules and there is only one answer, but through the cases, I could understand that it is an important tool for smooth implementation of management objectives through accounting policies. I was also nervous in my first class, but the professor asked me questions and created an atmosphere in which it was easy for me to speak up, so I was able to relax during the class. Thank you very much.

    Office Worker 40s Male

  • The class was very informative as it made me think about the impact of corporate management at the head office on the consolidated companies, as well as the impact of the consolidated companies on the non-consolidated companies. This helped me to deepen my understanding of companies other than the ones I had researched.

    Management 40s Male

  • In addition to learning about accounting and finance, I learned about financial statement analysis and case studies, and integrated reporting with an eye on ESG as well, which gave me a perspective on increasing corporate value. Thank you very much. I would like to put them into practice.

    Office Worker 30s Male

  • I was overwhelmed by the professor's wide range of experience and expertise in the accounting area and acquired a lot of knowledge. The professor also made some stylish remarks to enliven the class discussion, making it an interesting lecture.
