The joint-program courses held at Nagoya Campus over extended holiday weekends at the end of each semester provide a unique opportunity for degree candidates of various programs to earn credits by participating in courses with students enrolled in other programs. This year is the first to feature the Driving Competitive Advantage course taught by Prof. Kenji Yokoyama in English.
The purpose of the course is to detail and explore different types of competitive advantage, so that companies with different strengths, weaknesses, and available resources can identify how best they can outperform competitors. On Day 1 of the course, participants explored large corporations such as Lego, Netflix, and Disney, to understand how multinational firms are able to maintain an edge and remain frontrunners in their fields.
