As part of NUCB BS Tax Accountant Training Course, the faculty member along with alumni and students visited the Diet Building for the 4th Case Translation Network. They study cases of the cabinet (administrative division) and the courts (judicial division) in depth followed by some mock trials.
The Diet which is sole legislation institute of Japan is also one of the most important segment of the state.
Mr. Kaneshige Wakamatsu, a member of the House of Councillors who is also a certified public and tax accountant took time out of his busy schedule to meet with participants for this network activity and share some of his insight experiences.
This type of fieldwork was a very meaningful opportunity for the students to learn about industries/system they are not involved in on a daily basis and to see how things work in the real world, which is difficult to obtain from written materials alone.
It was a very valuable opportunity for the students to learn about different industries and to use their imagination in order to create business cases as well as to translate those cases so that they can be understood by the readers.
