Network Report
At our school, there are many opportunities for exchanges among businesspeople, both current and former students. One of them is meetings held by affinity networks, such as the Healthcare Network established by Professor Yuji Nagasawa. This network has nearly 300 members in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, mainly students and graduates working in the pharmaceutical and medical industries, and meetings are held regularly.
On Sunday, December 17, 2017, 32 current students and alumni gathered at the Osaka Campus to discuss and present in groups on the following topics.
• In order to achieve a paradigm shift in healthcare (fighting against unconscious bias)
• How to effectively share and provide limited resources (human resources, functions, and services) in promoting regional medical care?
• Selection of themes for the HKR project
In addition to discussions and presentations, the Healthcare Network s also a place where current students and graduates can actively interact and learn from each other, not only while in school but also after completing their studies.
A mock lecture by Professor Yuji Nagasawa will be held at the Osaka Campus on Saturday, February 17, 2018. This is a rare opportunity for you to experience a lecture by Professor Yuji Nagasawa, who has won our annual Teaching Award for five consecutive years and has the No.1 student satisfaction rating. We look forward to seeing many of you there.
