"MBA/MSc Program Alumni Speaker Event"

As part of the MBA/MSc program Spring Semester student events program, the International Affairs team held an “Alumni Speakers Event” online, connecting current students to alumni from the past 5 years over Zoom.

Three speakers from Japan and overseas gave a varied overview of their time on the MBA program, including some amusing insights into the unique teaching styles of some faculty members, and fond memories of the former NUCB Business School site in Fushimi.

The speakers also reflected upon their career journeys before and since graduation, offering some sound advice on making decisive life changes as well as specifics about job hunting, and making a good impression, in Japan.

The featured MBA Program Alumni Speakers were:
- Junko Kimura MBA, 2015, based in Japan
- Leonard Leiser MBA, 2016, based in the US
- Prang Serino MBA, 2019, based in Japan

This was an informative and lively session, which provoked some good questions and debates for over one and a half hours. We are grateful for the opportunity to keep in touch with our successful graduates and look forward to hearing more from them in the future!
