Review

  • In the MBA program, I learned about decision trees and other management decision-making methods and I learned a lot from the content of the class, which was designed so that I could put this into practice in the healthcare industry.

    Professional 40s Male

  • The professor clearly explained how to use frameworks and quantitative evaluation for decision making, which I felt would be very useful for the group decision making.

    Healthcare 30s Female

  • The professor's positive attitude towards the discussion was impressive even though I have never attended this type of MBA lecture before.

    Engineering 30s Male

  • Although the case study dealt with the special environment of the pharmaceutical industry, it was an opportunity to learn the basics of frames that can be used in various decision-making situations, as stated in the syllabus.

    Management 40s Male

  • The best part of the case method was that the students were able to experience the difficulty of decision making from the perspective of the characters in the case. The facilitation was natural, and the students' comments were taken into account, and I felt that the discussions were very well coordinated. There was a high degree of consistency between the selection of cases and the learning themes, and I feel that the class was of high quality in general. Thank you very much.

    Sales 30s Female

  • I had no knowledge of the medical industry and was anxious about participating in the class, but it was very interesting and a great learning experience because it was a class about practical decision making that is necessary not only in the medical industry but in many other fields. It was very interesting and a great learning experience for me. I could feel that the professor was guiding the class while keeping an eye on the whole group, which made me feel even more motivated to actively participate in the class. Thank you very much.

    Independent business 30s Male

  • The course was facilitated in such a way that even non-healthcare students were able to attend the course smoothly, as they were checked as needed to ensure that they understood the specialized content related to health care.

    Office Worker 30s Male

  • They actively shared reference materials and other information with us, which helped us understand more deeply. I also learned a lot from the many participants who are engaged in healthcare-related businesses.

    Office Worker 30s Female

  • There were many insights on decision making under the specificity of medical and nursing care situations that can be applied tomorrow in general companies, which was very helpful. The balance between case discussions and input was good and very easy to understand. Also, the atmosphere of the class as a whole was good, and I felt that Dr. Kitahara was in good control of the class. Thank you very much for the two days of learning.

    Office Worker 40s Male

  • I really liked the fact that the class focused on what we should think about through the healthcare business, rather than on the expertise of the healthcare business. I think there are many things that healthcare business can learn from general business, and I was glad to have the opportunity to hear the diverse opinions of the participants from such a perspective.

    Office Worker 40s Female

  • The facilitator's upbeat atmosphere made it easy to discuss the issues. By making the participants think about the connection between their environment and business as usual, he encouraged decision-making and business studies that expanded the framework of thinking regardless of industry.

    Office Worker 30s Male

  • The framework of process in decision making and taking into account various uncertainties such as decision making as an organization was helpful. I was also able to deepen my learning through the class on what I should do as a middle manager and what I should do as a medical professional.

    Office Worker 20s Male

  • It was very reassuring to know that you were eagerly listening to the students. Thank you very much. I believe that we will be making more and more decisions amidst uncertainty and limited information, so I would like to apply what I learned in this class to my practice.

    Office Worker 50s Male

  • He focused on decision making and explained it in an easy-to-understand manner. As a person in the healthcare industry, I would like to reevaluate my own decision making.

    Healthcare 50s Male

  • There was a common consistency in decision making in all cases, and the quiz at the end and the exchange of opinions in the summary, many of which have been burned into my brain. Lectures on healthcare business tend to be biased toward that industry, but this time everyone was actively participating, and the professor himself explained in an easy-to-understand way how it is useful for industries other than the healthcare business, so I was able to deepen my understanding. Thank you very much for the two days.
