Review

  • It gave me an opportunity to think about how to realize CSR in the face of complex regulations in the industry. The class made me realize the importance of aggressive CSR, the importance of subjectivity and objectivity, and the importance of identifying stakeholders and formulating strategies.

  • Since the professor is a front-line consultant in the field, there are many takeaways in the class from his background as a practitioner which is very useful for career development.

    Professional 40s Male

  • I was able to spend a very meaningful time because the issues and projects of my company were very relevant. The teacher's facilitation and easy to speak responses were also very good.

    Information Technology 40s Male

  • The structure of the prep and class was exquisite, and the knowledge I gained from the prep and the explanations in the class helped me deepen my own understanding. I have read books on the SDGs before, but the teacher's explanations were very easy to understand and gave me many new insights. I would definitely like to try this in practice!

    Administrative 40s Female

  • I was able to clarify the difference in the relationship between CSR and sustainability (SDG). I also felt that it is important for companies to take a step beyond CSR activities to achieve both corporate win-win and social win-win in their mid-term plans in the future. I was able to learn the importance of being aware of the link between management philosophy and management.

    Management 50s Male

  • With Prof. Ogawa's facilitation, there were many deep discussions and it was a meaningful two days. My knowledge of sustainability, which was a collection of dots, has been connected to a line. Starting tomorrow, I would like to immediately make a proposal at a meeting to think about our company's sustainability internally and make it into a surface. Thank you very much.

    Administrative 40s Female

  • The balance of small group discussions, general discussions, and lectures was excellent. The teacher's facilitation was perfect and the class was a great learning experience.

    Office Worker 30s Male

  • Sustainability is a megatrend, but there is not much timing to develop a systematic, philosophical or conceptual understanding of the topic. There is no opportunity for discussion like the one in this lecture. Through the discussion, my understanding has improved and my perspective has broadened. Thank you very much.

    Office Worker 40s Male

  • I thought the class management was excellent in suggesting awareness through cases and class discussion. Also, the slides and explanations are very persuasive based on your wealth of practical experience, which leads to learning. Your answers to my questions were also very clear and I felt very much at ease in the class. Thank you very much.

    Office Worker 30s Female

  • It was not the type of class that requires a long time to organize facts about a case, but a good class that allowed students to learn more about the real current situation by using the case as a starting point to expand into examples from the student's company.

    Office Worker 20s Male

  • I learned about management strategies in sustainability and purpose, and the issues facing my own organization became clearer. The case studies were also relevant and allowed us to compare with our own organization and learn how to fill in the gaps, as well as to enhance our perspective on how to contribute to the local community and supply chain.

    Office Worker 40s Male

  • The discussions were held with systematic lectures before and after each session, which made it very easy to understand and gain insights, which were then applied to the next session to deepen our understanding. Thank you very much for the two days.

    Office Worker 50s Male

  • I was able to rethink management resources from the perspective of sustainability. In particular, I had been looking at human capital only from the investor's point of view, but now I realize that it is closely related to competitive advantage, such as corporate continuity and corporate culture. I am now in charge of new employees, and I felt that I must convey to them both tacit and formal knowledge about the company's culture and other aspects of the company. I will immediately take up the challenge starting tomorrow. Thank you very much for the thought-provoking class.
