Ralf Boscheck

Biography

Dr. Boscheck is Professor at NUCB and Emeritus of Economics and Business Policy in IMD. He is specializing in strategy, economics, and regulation. His 30 years of research focus on competitive advantage and the critical balance between corporate profit and creating value for society. He is currently working on a project that identifies regulatory obstacles preventing companies from profitably addressing global challenges – particularly in energy, healthcare, agribusiness and infrastructure development.
Dr. Boscheck has held significant leadership roles, including Dean of the IMD MBA program and Dean of the Business School at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Chile, where he reformed the school’s program portfolio, research focus and faculty policies in order to position the institution as a resource for business and economic development. He has a long history of consulting with global firms like Bayer, Novo Nordisk, Oracle or Shell. He is the author of four books and numerous articles in academic journals and major media.
