After Siemens Wind Power division (SWP) merged with Gamesa in 2017, the organization and business process have been changed dramatically. The legacy SWP sales are facing high turnover ratio but more new opportunities as the government urges to implement natural carbon dioxide emissions To achieve the target, both onshore and offshore wind farm development are being accelerated. The new company who is Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Japan is suffering from overloaded work due to lack of people resource. Head of SWP Japan is struggling hard to sustain the organization and cement the project pipeline with the help of APAC management. However, the current 4th market share position is not satisfied globally. Competing with two global giants needs a constructive and concrete strategic plan and a concrete SDGs strategy.
