TOPPAN FORMS Co., Ltd. transformed its business from business form printing to DPS(Data Print Service) and it always has been the leader in the business form printing industry. However, in recent years, it has experienced a decrease in profitability due to the digitization of printing and the gap between competitors diminishing, because the quality of products has become similar. In this situation, TOPPAN FORMS seeks future growth by developing its business in BPO (Business Process Outsourcing), which was developed from DPS, as well as its IC card and tag business. This case study is about those new business’ marketing strategies, showing that the establishment of solution brand power is important. Also, from a different point of view, it indicates the importance of brand value in the B2B model, as well as points concerning digitalization of analog industries. Finally, it provides suggestions for conversion to mature industries.
